Golf Fore Africa - 4th Annual East Coast Classic

New York - Golf Fore Africa announces its upcoming golf tournament and event, The 4th Annual East Coast Classic on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Friar’s Head, New York.

This event allows fans of the LPGA and supporters of Golf Fore Africa to have an opportunity to spend a day golfing with stars from the LPGA while raising funds to support GFA’s Project Zambia. With 50% of rural Zambians lacking access to clean water and one of eleven children dying before the age of five, Golf Fore Africa partners with World Visions’ WASH Program that plans on reaching 305,000 people with water. Around 280 communities will benefit from WASH interventions.

This year’s group of 22 LPGA professionals includes several World Golf Hall of Fame members and current stars of the LPGA tour such as Juli Inkster, Lexi Thompson, Christina Kim, Angela Stanford and Cheyenne Woods. Each amateur will have the opportunity to play with two of the LPGA professionals, nine holes with each. The night includes a live auction hosted by Paige Mackenzie from Golf Channel that will be auctioning off a Pebble Beach Golf getaway, golf at Bandon Dunes for four and a chance to purchase a round of golf with LPGA pro Katherine Kirk at Flint Hills.

Last year’s Golf Fore Africa’s 3rd Annual East Coast Classic event raised more than $275,000.

“My experience at the recent Golf Fore Africa outing was unrivaled. As a corporate sponsor, I was delighted to assist this incredible organization to help those less fortunate with clean water. As a golfer, the experience was pure joy,” said Corey Roberts, CEO of RRD Partners Inc.
