Ortiz is inviting sports fans and golf enthusiasts alike to join his cause by participating in the four day celebrity VIP golfing getaway which will take place at AlSol Luxury Village in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, December 12th – 15, 2013. Three special VIP packages are available for purchase, offering guests once in a lifetime experiences at the internationally recognized affair including: a round of golf with a celebrity captain at the world-renowned Punta Espada Golf Course - rated the #1 golf course in the Caribbean and Mexico by GOLFWEEK; luxury accommodations, and access to all-inclusive dining and event entertainment on property.

The David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic directly benefits the David Ortiz Children’s Fund, which was founded in 2007 in partnership with the International Hospital for Children, now known as the World Pediatric Project, to provide critical pediatric healthcare in the Dominican Republic. In 2009, the Fund partnered with Massachusetts General Hospital for Children to continue and extend its life-saving mission to New England.
