Wells Fargo - Fantasy Picks

Wells Fargo Championship:
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Course: Quail Hollow Club
Par: 72
Length: 7,442 yards
Prize Pool: $6,700,000
Last Years Champion: Rickie Fowler
The PGA Tour continues this week in North Carolina with the Wells Fargo Championship.  As always the field is packed with talent, making it challenging to narrow down a potential winner.  In any event, I've once again given it a shot at making my top selections, and they look like this...

Rickie Fowler - As the returning champion from 2012, which was his first PGA Tour victory, I think Rickie will be bringing his 'A' game this week.  He's shown signs of greatness so far this season, with three to 10 finishes.  His stats are looking great; if he can avoid having any double bogeys creep onto his card, I think he'll be in contention come Sunday.

Phil Mickelson - He's been up and down so far this season, but with a great history at this event, I think he'll be looking to hit another high this week.  Mickelson has placed in the top 10 six times at the Wells Fargo, four of which were top fives.

Angel Cabrera - After watching him perform so well at the Masters, only to lose in a playoff, it's hard not to root for Cabrera.  I think his consistent play and determination will shine again this week at Quail Hollow.

Bubba Watson - Although he's hasn't found a victory so far in 2013, I think it's only a matter of time until that happens.  As one of the longest hitters on Tour, as well as top 10 in greens hit in regulation, I think Bubba will be on his game this week.

Webb Simpson - With one victory already under his belt, I think Simpson will be gunning for number two.  He's accumulated three top six finishes this season, and isn't showing any signs of slowing down.  He rested last week, and should be raring to go this week.

Here's a closer look at my completed fantasy picks.
