Eagles, Birdies and... Pigeons?

I was recently introduced to a new golf networking site called Golf Pigeon.  If you're anything like me, I know what you're thinking... uhhhh not another golf networking site that drains your time and provides little value in return.  Despite my initial reluctance, because they were running a contest with one of my favorite golfers, Ben Crane, I decided to give it a shot.  To my surprise, after creating a profile and browsing the site, I found Golf Pigeon to be an exception to the rule, and a very cool site.

Features and benefits include, creating a profile, interacting with other golf enthusiasts, posting blog articles, posting pictures, videos and much much more.  After playing around on the site for a couple days, I have to admit, I'm now hooked.  Possibly the coolest feature on the site is 'The Pigeon Coop' which is similar to airline points or credit card miles.  This program allows you to collect points simply through interacting on the site and then redeem them for great products. Very Cool!
